Our son swims... we hope he will become a champion (as every parents wishes for his child). But he is really a good swimmer.
His training schedule is 6 days a week - 2,5 to 3 hours each. So a lot of time is spent there together with parents of all the swimmers.
And there is this young lady - actually a child - just 5 years old.
And she loves everything about clothing and accessories.
So I decided to make a small tote for her to carry her "stuff" while watching her sister swim.
And here is what I came with: a small tote (where I practiced a little bit of free machine quilting - not a very good result, but it was just my 3rd attempt) with applique hearts
and for her auntie I made a small African flower phone case :
